What we collect
- Newsletter: your first name, last name and email address when you subscribe.
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message.
We do not use advertising or visitor-tracking tools, and we do not build profiles of the people who visit.
What we use it for
Newsletter details are used only to send you our newsletter: herd news, sale bulls and sale dates. Contact form details are used only to reply to you. We never sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their marketing.
Where it is kept
This website and its newsletter list are hosted by Afrihost in South Africa, and newsletters are sent from that server. Messages from the contact form are delivered to our Gmail inbox.
How long we keep it
We keep newsletter details until you unsubscribe. We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry or sale.
Your choices
- Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
- To see, correct or delete the details we hold about you, email blackstonebeef@gmail.com.
- If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator.
Cookies and videos
This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Our videos play through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, in which YouTube does not store information about you unless you play a video; after that, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies. Links to Instagram, breed societies and other websites take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
