We entered four grandsons of Spry’s All Gold D052 into Phase C testing, and by the end of December 2016 the results were in: two Gold and two Silver Merits!
Three of them are sons of Duncraggan Smashing Stuff 103, our All Gold son, and between them they earned one Gold and two Silver Merits. Two of the Silver Merit bulls are D. Warwick 319, out of our Tukulu Duchess family cow D. Duchess 063, and D. Willy Wonker 337, out of a Carnarvon Augusta family cow by Wauldby 0407.
The fourth is a Gold Merit son of Homedale Accomplished, out of a Sprys All Gold D052 daughter.
When we bought the South African semen rights to All Gold in 2008, this is exactly what we were hoping for: thickness and growth that carries through the generations, on a moderate frame. It is very pleasing to see it confirmed on an independent test.
